    Great for a date day
We did the captains treasure room me and my partner and it was class. Out host Bruce got us straight in the experience from the minute we walked in to sign up. Gave us hints just as we needed them without us asking and spreading them when we needed. Really hope he's our host when we return to do the wizards room. Thank you

    Expansive, imaginative Asylum room
Very inventive escape room. I did Asylum with my boys aged 11, 14 and 16. It was atmospheric, a bit creepy and had a couple of surprises, but nothing we couldn't cope with. Our helper (I'm going to say Ella - I'm so bad with names!) was great at letting us try to work it out, but keeping us on track. Highly recommend

After looking at the price of the escape rooms we were not sure on booking this as we also had 2 children under 10 with us and it was our first ever escape experience.

I sent a few emails and Simon was very quick to reply which gave us confidence in booking this superb experience.

With the children in mind we booked the Wizards Lair and couldn’t wait to get started. Jordan gave us a great welcome and made us feel comfortable at all times.

As soon as we got going it was clear there was a lot to do and it was such great fun working everything out together and the children were working out clues just as well as the adults and would really recommend this for families. Jordan was willing to help if we needed any and this certainly has given us the bug for more Escapes!

Bring on the pirate room!

Me and my wife when for are Anniversary, we were met by Conner the host of the wizards escape room. Conner made us feel very welcome, he went through all the safety briefs and full explanation of what lies ahead of us. He played his role amazingly and that made the experience fee like we where really entering a wizards lair and if we didn’t escape we where going to be stuck forever. I can’t say enough about Conner as he made are day. All I would say is book it as it’s amazing. Thank you Conner.

As a fairly regular escape room tourist I wasn't necessarily expecting too much from the rooms at the Heatherton site, I was however very pleasantly surprised when after 67 minutes (alas failing to escape in the allotted 60) my partner and I had experienced one of our favourite rooms to date.

We attempted the asylum room, perhaps ambitious given we hadn't managed to visit an escape room for 12+ months, but we loved every moment...even if we did need to seek assistance on the odd occasion. The theming was superb (right up my street) and whilst the classic escape room tricks are apparent there was a nice surprise or 2 which I hadn't seen before.

Jordan was very enthusiastic and friendly, helping us to figure out some of the riddles on the walls of the waiting area (nice touch) and was on hand throughout the escape attempt when my partner and I were struggling. Jordan did not make us feel stupid nor was he patronising and was able to offer neat little clues without giving answers or revealing too much.

Shame we live a few hours away otherwise we'd definitely be back to try out the other rooms!

We visited the escape rooms as a birthday present and decided to do 2 rooms, the pirate themed room and the asylum themed room. Bruce was our host and what a fantastic job he did.... He really sold the games to us with his passion and his enthusiasm, he gave great cryptic clues when needed, but did not make it is easy for us. We are very experienced at escape rooms and feel that these rooms are right up there with the best of them with regards to the difficulty of the puzzles and intricacies of the story telling. No expense spared with the rooms, they feel really good quality, great design, sound and lighting and you can feel the passion for what they have created. A really fantastic experience..... Thanks again Bruce, top bloke, top team, top escape rooms. 5*

We came to do the asylum on our 2nd day in Wales all the way from Essex as our first holiday together. We absolutely love escape rooms and I also work at one myself so we were very excited!
The room itself was wonderfully detailed and you could tell that a lot of care and effort had been made into putting it together. The atmosphere was very tense with a few well placed scares as well. All the puzzles made sense as well, they were not outlandish or farfetched.
The ONLY thing that did put a downer on the experience was the frequency of clues we were given. Me and my partner are by no means puzzle experts however we enjoy the thrill of working through every possible way to solve a puzzle before we give in and ask for a clue. The games-master we had gave us a clue at every single new puzzle we had to solve, which either stole the fun in attempting to solve it or if we DID understand it straight away it didn’t make us feel like we solved it ourselves. We understand that they were just trying to be helpful and make sure we got to see as much of the room as possible but it did take away some of the thrill. On the other hand though, they clearly knew the room extremely well and were paying very close attention to the game which we love, so thank you for that!
We are booked in to do the Captains Treasure Room in the next few days to end the holiday and cannot wait

We booked an Escape room during a visit to Heatherton.
Myself a friend and my 13 year son took on the Asylum room.
We have visited several other escape rooms on various locations and this is up there with the best. The rooms themselves were all set up and decorated to fully immerse you in tue experience. I actually jumped out of my skin on more than one occasion (it does stare when booking that the particular room we opted for had more of an adult theme so not suitable for younger children).
The games and puzzles were also varied and there were lots of new types that we hadn’t seen before. They also provided a sufficient amount of challenge (this particular Amazing room was ranked towards the more difficult end-they required some thinking and weren’t too easy the experience would be over straight away).
The rooms are exactly cheap (£66 for 3 people but this varies with the number of people so isn’t charged per room) but we all really enjoyed and compared to some of the others we have visited was definitely worth the money. Can’t wait to visit again to try the other rooms!
Special shout out to Alfie the member of staff who was on charge of our room during the visit-helped when needed but didn’t spoil the ambience/experience and was genuinely lovely!

Great fun completing the Wizards lair room. Lots of hidden tasks to complete keeping the challenge going for the whole time.
Really friendly staff (didn’t catch the name of the man that helped us but he was really helpful and enthusiastic about the game)
We were a family of 4 adults and would really recommend this as a fun way to spend some time together

We had one room left to do and that was Asylum. Without doubt it was the best room so far and we have done quite a few. Callum, our host, was amazing. Super friendly, super patient and super welcoming. It makes such a difference when the host engages like this. The room was…obviously not going to reveal anything, scary (there were a few colourful words from members of our team), challenging, logical and fun. There was a good variety of “puzzles” and the atmosphere was spot on.
We will be watching out for any new rooms they set up as it has been a brilliant experience. We thoroughly recommend a visit if you’re considering an escape room.

We had a great time at tenby great escapes. We did the wizzards lair one. I thought it was well designed and there was plenty of things to find to slove the clues and enough red herrings to keep you guessing. The tour guide was very nice and he did allow us to go over our 60 minuets which I thought was nice. We completed it in 63 minutes and if I were to be told we had to come up out before I would have been very disappointed. He knew when we struggling and gave us clues on the screen to help.

We did the Asylum room and half of our group were a little nervous about the spooky room but we all absolutely loved it when it was all over. Not going to lie, it was quite tricky but I thought the puzzles were very cleverly done. I felt it was a little anti climactic at times hence only the 4 star review but overall we thought it was great!
