- Jade E1 contributionAmazingAmazing place for all the family. We came all the way from Scotland and had a fantastic time even though the weather was horrific ( we are used to it being from scotland). Staff were so so helpful and friendly and cheery regardless of the rubbish weather and nothing was an issue to them. Would definetly recommend and if it wasnt an 8hr drive we would definetly be back !Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 20 October 2023
- Peter D1 contributionSon's birthday visitWe visited Heatherton for my son's birthday earlier in the month. The staff were brilliant and friendly - even though it was mid week/quiet, there was always someone available to run the ride/activity that we wanted to do. I particularly loved the activities that the whole family could get involved with like the slot car racing and the hedge maze. Will definitely be back soon!Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten 16 January 2024

A bit expensive but well worth the money.. we went in December and it was quite cold so wrap up warm if you’re going during winter. - Michelle P11 contributionsGreat family day out, even with older kids!Enjoyable day at Heatherton! It was a quiet day with minimum visitors…staff were friendly and welcoming! Had fun on the Go Karts, which my son loved. We both enjoyed the pistol shooting and the clay pigeon shooting. The scenery on the crazy golf is lovely and the course is a good size! The driving range is also a good place to relax and hit some balls! The last time we visited Heatherton, my son was 11…he’s 17 now and he still enjoyed it! Great place for kids of all ages, it’s a great family day out!Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten 1 February 2024
- girlracervr6Cumbria, United Kingdom17 contributionsFantastic day out at a great price !!!Fantastic place !!! Lots to do for all ages and you get lots of time on the rides and the queues were small! Wish we lived nearer we would visit regularly ! Pre purchasing credits is the best way to go on the web site, saves you lots of money and it’s great you don’t have to pay for adults ! I wish more places were like that. My son is 7 and he absolutely loved the 4x4 cars , dragon slide and bumper boats !Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 2 April 2024
- Nina7944Ruislip, United Kingdom86 contributionsFamily and friends visitWe were on a long weekend trip to Carmarthen and visited Heatherton for the day on Saturday. 4 adults, 2 children (10 & 8) and a dog. Great choice of activities, something for everyone and a good opportunity to try something new- we tried archery and clay pigeon shooting. The kids loved the 18 hole mini golf, giant bubble balls and water boats. Purchase of the credits was easy enough and we bought online before we went. £100 ish got us 40 credits, which was plenty as most rides were 1 or 2 credits a go. Easily enough to fill a whole day, as there was bits my kids didn’t fancy…go karts/maze etc Most definitely a fun filled dayVisited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 3 April 2024
- Dean_jobeLiskeard, United Kingdom46 contributionsAn amazing day had by allWhat an amazing place! We are on holiday from Cornwall, two parents, two children (5 & 7) two grandparents and our dog. We purchased 40 credits which was perfect for 5 and a half hours entertainment. So many different things to do. Probably the best mini golf I’ve played in the uk. Everything was so clean and the staff are brilliant! Cannot thank you enough for making us feel so welcome all day. Loved the baseball cage, archery, huge scalectrix and the children’s 4x4s. Everyone had a brilliant day 😀👍🏼Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten 7 May 2024

My daughter really enjoyed the archery and disco boats, there was something for everyone. Coffee was lovely and prices were not too bad. Will stay for food next time we visit. - Raine11 contributionsA huge amount of activities for all ages - a great day outOne of our favourite places to go when we visit this part of Wales. There's huge variety in the activities - something for all ages - and I love that even my youngest can have a go at things like shooting and archery. You can easily spend a whole day here and can adapt the visit to any budget by buying a set amount of tokens to use. Staff are great and are particularly attentive with kids when doing activities like archery.Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 17 June 2024

We visited Thursday pre booked our tickets in advance to tie in with limited restricted numbers.
When we arrived the overflow car park was full with People were able to buy tickets on the day and the place was ramed as if they were giving things away.
There were no covid restrictions in place apart from the hand stations at every ride.
On the dragon slide overalls were given straight from the bucket. Also at the Baseball section the gloves and helmets were given straight to the next person with no thought for sanitising.
We have been previously on numerous occasions as loved it here. Now after that visit we will certainly reconsider attending.
I did email them, however the response provided was they have someone sanitising throughout the day. Yes they have people wandering around, but not at any point did they do anything with the contents of the bucket. Except wave the bucket from front to back as they walked. Also the member of staff cleaning the toilet took seconds to clean it with a quick wipe then sprayed air freshener.
They also stated that it is not only with them it is the customers too. Yes, but it becomes extremely difficult to do so when you are ramming the place full as if it were a normal day at the park. They seriously need an overhaul of the health & safety team leading this project against COVID-19 at Heatherton.
I would not recommend this to anyone at this time.

We have been going to Heatherton for over 10 years, and after a break during lockdown we looked forward to going back this year. We were very disappointed. Firstly the prices appears to have increased by about 25% since we last visited (pre COVID) and quite a few of the attractions had disappeared (Walk on Water, Pedal Karts) which meant there were less things for our teenagers to do than usual. But the worst change was the cafe. The menu was much smaller, and the prices had increased massively. We bought 2 pizzas and 2 portions of "dirty fries" with 4 soft drinks and we didn't get much change out of £50. The pizza bases were hard, there was too much tomato puree on the pizzas and the greasy toppings just slid off. The "dirty fries" were a congealed mess and none of us could eat more than half the portions because the food was practically inedible. The pepperoni pizza was especially awful for £14, and considering you can get a lovely pepperoni pizza for £15 at Top Joe's the price was extortionate. I recommend you don't buy food on-site and go to a local eatery instead. We used to go to Heatherton 2 or 3 times a year, but sadly we do not think we will be visiting again because of the poor value for money.

It was an expensive day for a family of four & didn't feel we had our moneys worth
even with just 6 tokens each. Most activities were for small children & not teenagers. Tube slide was disappointing as we thought it would be longer. Crazy golf was good but bottlenecked as not enough time left before letting more people in. My bumper boat was working properly & was going really slow & I was just told they would take it out. No evidence of Covid procedures like cleaning before other people touch surfaces. At the pistol shooting we had to wear masks but staff weren't & the lad just picked up guns & goggles off the side as if other people had just used them & they hadn't been disinfected. We kept sanitising hands as they did have sanitising points around but still felt very much at risk. Wouldn't bother coming back.

As parents of a 15 and an 8 year old, it is nearly impossible to find an attraction that entertains them both, but Heatherton is definitely one of those places that was great for children of a wide range of ages.
We booked a family ticket of 30 tokens, which is just about right for a 5-6 hour visit. Although it was quite a busy day, waiting times on some of the attractions were quite long but not awful.
There were a couple of things the children were not able to do because they were wearing sandals; the Dragon Slide and Zip Wire rules don't allow open ended footwear, which is sensible. Had they worn other footwear then the 40 token ticket would have been appropriate.

A fantastic place and really well priced.
We bought a family ticket of 30 credits on a flexi ticket. The day we booked was raining so the flexi ticket was worth it as could swap dates. The team were so helpful on the phone.
There were the right mix of qctivities for our two daughters aged 11 and 9 and I had a go too! My favourite was the dragon slide and my eldest was the land rovers thinking it was hilarious as she could bump and be okay. My youngest adored the go karts. They were on a really kool track that was fast. Just the right speed to thrill but not be dangerous. They had 2 goes on this activity.
Lots of places to enjoy a picnic or buy food. If we returned we would try the the tree tops adventure as this was separate.
We were there from 10am till nearly 5pm time flew, with hardly any queuing, which was refreshing.
Lastly the customer service was incredible..On the boating lake donuts ride my daughter dropped her new sunglasses into the Lake when getting off (see picture below). Thinking they were totally sunk and lost she was devasted. However the next day I emailed reception to see if they had floated up miraculously? They were brilliant and the manger jumped in and found them all fine not rusty or broken! Not only did they find them but they posted them to us, as we were home 6 hours away! What super stars. The look on my 9 years face when she opened the parcel was wonderful. Little things but worth so much.
Thank you all for a great day. If we go back to Saundesfoot we will definitely visit again.

Disorganised, run down, not enough staff, most staff were overworked or disinterested in managing customer service. Wasted money on buying a family ticket. If you want to go I suggest you pay as you go instead of splashing out on a family ticket

So, we were recommended on their website for a family of 3 to buy 30 tokens at £67.50. We are a couple with a 9yr old and we managed to use 15 tokens during 11am to 4pm so waste of money for us.
The whole park is in desperate need of some maintenance and that means more than a lick of paint.
3 water rides were closed. Broken plastic buckets on the water bomb ballon attraction, Bouncy slide has seen better days as most of the attractions.
Having been to folly farm the same week and seeing how they covid cleaned everything there was no evidence of covid cleaning at Heatherton.
I think heatherton is suited for smaller children, or teenagers/adults and not 9 yr olds that need accompanying on rides with an adult.
Cara in the gift shop was lovely though, she is management material rather than the teenagers who seem to be put in charge.
Oh and don’t put crocs on your kids…. They are classed as unsuitable for the rides and apparently this is common knowledge?
I’m afraid Heatherton is not for us……

Firstly if there wasn't a pandemic going on, then this would be a 4 or even 5 star rating as its is a great day out with lots of fun activities for all the family.
However, we bought our tickets on line expecting the number of visitors to be controlled that way due to the virus. We arrived 11:20 am and the car park was full so we went to the overflow car park which was also nearly full with people also having to park out on the roadside.
There were crowds everywhere in the park, no social distancing. The problem was that the park was not sectioned off and way too many people had been allowed in. See photo, everyone crowded into such small spaces within the park.
Its not the staff as they are great, but its the actual set up and layout of the park with such high numbers of visitors thats the problem. The staff on the activities were good with the majority spraying the activities between use. All except the 4x4 land rovers, children got out of the land rover and my daughter was told to get in without it having been sprayed down.
On the go kart section, crowd's of people going into the changing rooms grabing overalls and trying them on, before chucking them back so others were picking them up and also putting them on. There was no control what so ever over these or any signs of the overalls being cleaned between people using them.
There are hand sanitizers on most activities, although some didn't work.
Unfortunately we won't be visiting again until this pandemic is over.

Feel like I have re lived some childhood activities and had a great time whilst taking part in a mini taster of a lot of activities.
We bought 30 credits to use between 4 of us and almost struggled to get through them all.
We did pistol shooting, archery, adventure golf, zipwire, maze, water buggy's, karting, dragon slide. There were loads to choose from and for all ages too.
I was impressed with the hand sanitizing stations located all around the park and in shops and communal areas. The mini cafe area served lovely tea and coffee and although seemed pricey sandwiches initially were fresh half baguettes filled with good quality fillings, southern fried chicken, tuna and mayo, cheese and onion and all good quality produce.
There is ample parking and if you find yourself in the overflow carpark it is a short, safe walk under underpass to reach the reception entrance and main park areas.
All the staff were super helpful and explained all the activities friendly.
The adventure golf was really well designed and some of the holes were quiet difficult! Making it more fun to avoid the lake and other obstacles.
If I had to make any comment and that would be there needed to be more places to sit during crazy/adventure golf specifically.
If you are a family of any age group and size you wont be disappointed.
If you are a couple who like something a bit different you wont be disappointed.
Consider purchasing credits to cover all your rides and activities it saved us a lot of money on the day!

I have been to Heatherton many many times but the first time with my 3 year old daughter on our family holiday. The initial cost of £60 for a family ticket might seem expensive but all 3 of us did non stop activities from 10 am till 5. So was great value. The Covid measures in place were extremely well controlled with staff sanitising everything between each group. Hand sanitizers were everywhere. There were no long ques as the staff were working very swiftly to keep things moving. Awesome job, look forward to coming back next year.

Hi, I would say definitely No! We took our niece who is 4, there is nothing they can go on by themselves really, she went on 3rides with an adult, definitely more at Folly Farm for little ones, hope this helps.

Is there plenty to do for 2-6 year olds?
Written 4 July 2016
Umm baseball, archery, clay pigeon shooting and guns are under cover. Then I guess go karting would be alright because you have overalls and a helmet on. Other than that, there's a little arcade and during the summer they have other activities that could be covered.

Hi, do you have a current price list for the activities? Thanks, Mark :)

Hi my husband and I are visiting midweek this week. Will it be really quiet? We would like to do crazy golf and the maze and we are all ready booked in for treetops.
Btw what is the power fan?

The park will be an average busy day due to October Half Term.
The crazy golf and maze are running daily from 10am - purchased on the day. Please make note that the maze is a newly planted beech tree maze, so it is a low level maze for the first couple of years.
The powerfan jump is similar to a banjeee jump, off the top of our 13m tower. :)
Kind Regards
Simon
