A very good place to relax. There is tables for a picnic. It is also the birthplace of the rapa nui culture. There is some restored moaïs on the site. The beach is not to big but with white sand. Very popular with local people.

Definitely a must see beach on easter island as there aren't many beach areas on the island. It's the typical south pacific beautiful that you'd hope for and expect. Not monitored so be careful.

If you need to spend a day at a beach, this is it. It has full amenities. However, like all places on Easter Island, there are a set of Moai statues on a platform facing Awalt from the water.

Beautiful beach with less waves than Anakena making it great for swimming. Access is by climbing over large rocks & is there unsuitable for kids/elderly.

Although there is a larger beach (Anakena) nearby this gem is one not to be missed. It is al little tricky to find as there are no signs along the road, but if you can happen to find it and climb over the lava rocks...More

Ovahe is just down the coast from Easter Island's only other beach, at Anakena, a relatively easy climb down from the parking area. The beach itself is very small, in a sheltered cove, and the swimming is easier than at Anakena becasue of athe lack...More

Surprisingly agreable beach, with many amenities. Some palm trees. And a beauty sundown. Near are Mohais.
