Bole the gallery displays and sells work by artists living within Argyll and is the home of Richard Kennedy Wood Art. Visit us to find a unique piece of art to remind you of your stay in fabulous Argyll. Situated 14 miles from Tarbert along the panoramic B8024, with its amazing views of Gigha Jura and Islay, Bole is a small family run gallery displaying some of the finest wood art in Britain as well as some fabulous examples of Argylls rich artistic creative spirit. Craft & Design Magazines Wood and Metal Gold Award winning artist Richard Kennedy looks forward to welcoming you soon. Bole is open from May to late October, Tuesdays to Sundays 11-5 Bring a cheque book though as Bole is unable to accept credit cards at this time and the nearest cash point is a 28 mile round trip!! We apologise for the inconvenience but look forward to seeing you soon. ***UPDATE paypal Chip and Pin should be available Early June 2014***

Do visit this gallery if you are near kilberry, the garden alone is worth a visit! The work is very special using different woods and methods Of colouring. We love our candlesticks.

A real hidden gem - gorgeous carved works of art. A must see for this part of the country. Informative and friendly host.

Small gallery across from Kilberry Inn (separate review). Some great wood carvings (intricate, modern work) by the owner and also other art by local artists. Robert was charming and obviously dedicated to his art. If you are near you should absolutely stop by.
