Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is just one of the many places mentioned in travel guides and the likes, I never realy understand why they are mentioned at all. Phraya Ratsadanupradit and so on is one of them. A statue situated in a small park, a park surrounded by busy traffic, is a monument - if I remember correctly - for the man who apparently introduced the rubber trees to Thailand.
In my opinion not very impressive at all.

The statue is located in the middle of a park. It is a great location to relax or to go for a run. In the morning a lot of locals do their exercises there. You can do all kinds of fitness exercises in the park.

For kids there is a playground. If you are in trang and you want to relax and enjoy the fresh air, go to the park!

Beside this famous monument, there is another location nearby which showcase the 2 storey house this famous man used to live when he was still alive. The house was made from wood but it still look strong after so many decades. The furnitures, stationary, photos hanging on the walls have more than a hundred year history. You can see the Trang governor wax statue sitting in the living room on his favourite rocking chair. A brief history of him is available in English with the brochure provided.
