Titakaveka Beach was really nice for snorkeling as you could walk in right from the beach and see so many fish amongst the rocks and coral. The water was very clear and we saw rainbow fish and so many more colorful varieties that I couldn't name but that were everywhere you looked.

Water is a bit colder here but the snorkelling is fantastic. Great beach to relax on when you are done too.

Our favourite beach for snorkling, saw a wide variety of colourful fish and blue star fish. Never too crowded.

We tried snorkelling at a few different spots but found this was the best. To find the most fish, walk up the beach 150meters to your right and go out half way between the shore and where the tourist boat go. Lots of fish.

This is our third time to Rarotonga and we do love it. Especially the snorkelling.we found the water some days to be a little hard to see through, but most days it was just magic. I think everyone should visit this paradise at least once in their lifetime. Just amazing relaxing place especially if like us you can rent a... More

This is our 4th stay in Raro and we usually love the pristine condition of Titikaveka Beach. However this time it was a little disappointing. A couple of still days meant that the water became very stagnant and we were shocked to see it was full of huge sea slugs and looked quite uninviting, which was such a shame. When... More

A few minutes walk from our cottage to this pristine beaches with all manner of fish and creatures just a step off into the water. You do that even need to snorkel as the water is so clear. Best area is opposite Kent Hall/Titikaveka school. Not many people and the coral heads are numerous and close in. More fish come... More

We've been to Rarotonga twice now and Titikaveka and Vaimaanga would have to be my favourite beaches. It would certainly choose accommodation in these two area when next staying. Titikaveka has lovely swimming and snorkeling (we stayed at the southern end) and is handy to a good roadside stall, a lovely church that welcomes visitors/tourists and numerous cafes - and... More
