We arrived at this beautiful old Roman bath site when it was closed for lunch so we walked around the perimeter. It's quite small and you really can see it all through the very open wire fence - can even take photos. We debated coming back later to go in but decided it wasn't really worth hanging around for. Most interesting roman ruins on Sardinia we found the Terme Romane in the spa town Fordongianus. You feel like traveling back in time to 1st century AD when the spa was in use. Arrived at 11.45 am, ticket was €4 each, they close at 12.30 am, were warned, mind you 45 min is enough as it is a very small area, the ruins are of 4000 year old roman thermal baths and the spring is still there, it was a good feeling to be there and visualise what it really looked like.
