Beautiful place with good views, the rocks are more primitive than England but they are much older, you can see how it was meant to look but age has cause deterioration, still a magnificent structure and a site to see.
Though there is nothing great to see but can be covered if going to Tatev Monastery. It’s on the way. We booked from Yerani travels on SIC Basis at 40 USD pp which included Tatev, Shaki Waterfall, stone henge, lunch , Areni Winery.
Armenia offers various landscapes and sceneries and this region didn't disappoint. The Karahundj in itself is worth the visit to see the local dolmen, but the landscapes around are breathtaking. Lots of cattle grazing, fields etc.... walking around the site is peaceful and worth spending...More
