We went to the Tayto factory today. It was such fun, from the minute we arrived the staff were friendly. They made the tour very interesting for kids & adults. Would advise being hungry as you get lots of lovely crisps to try. It was great value for money and i would recomend it. We can't wait to go back 😃

We had a great tour at Tayto Castle today. We were taken around the factory by Jill (thanks Jill!) who managed a great mix of facts and humour to keep everyone engaged. From potato deliveries and storage, through cleaning, skinning and slicing (different sizes depending on the type of crisp being made), to cooking, flavouring and packaging. It's all covered.... We had a truly awesome tour on Tuesday with Jill. The boys were blown away and asked when they can go back. The tour was funny and factual and we all loved it. We are still shouting "who do we sell the bad ones to?" Loved it!

So we did the tour on 20th Sept. Our guide Jill was excellent, very welcoming and had great knowledge about the factory delivered in a very witty way. She made our day. The tour was very interesting and was not one of these tours where you have a mock up or wax works etc you actually do tour round the... More

Finally got here and what a great wee day out this is. I pre-booked online which is advisable as this factory tour is popular. Tip, don't wear any jewellery or carry a bag, though if your turn up with jewellery etc. it will all be safely stored. The guides are great and you get to meet Pat!! You see the... More

We arrived to find we were the only ones on the tour! We didn't miss out on anything though. The whole experience is a delight and getting to taste hot crisps was great! All the staff we met were superb. We couldn't fault the whole experience. It is well worth a visit. Well done Tayto!

Was a great visit. Was on holiday in the area. Like the crisps so wanted to see how they are made. Was a very interesting trip. All the staff were friendly even ones not involved in the tour. A smile round every corner.

This morning after packing up 2 car loads of family from three countries we headed to Tayto castle and were greeted by the wonderful Bob. We were handed over to Jill who turned out to be the most humorous tour guide, she kept all of us interested from start to finish with amazing facts and tasty snacks!!! We left with... More
