Zoo d'Abruzzo is a permanent exhibition of wildlife with pedestrian path that offers the opportunity for children and adults to experience a day in close contact with animals from around the world. It 'sa reality a family born a few years ago as a simple experiment, which now employs a scientific staff, consisting of two veteriari, a veterinary assistant and a etolgo, to solve the problems that arise on a daily basis and to ensure health and well-being of the species housed. Thanks to the educational activities proposed is can go any further issues on the protection and conservation of endangered species and have information or clarification regarding any questions that may arise. Zoo d'Abruzzo also has a mini amusement park, a bar and a self-service restaurant in disposine visitors.

It was a lovely and inexpensive day out with the kids, saw animals all really up close. Kids could almost touch the rhino and they really loved being able to feed the giraffes (something nowhere in UK really allows anymore). It was great to see...More

We picked the only day in the month to travel to this zoo when it was closed so check before you travel. Also is difficult to visit by bus and foot, so best to arrive by car. However staff allowed us to look around even...More
