On our walk on the Cape Schanck, we saw an unusual rock, named Pulpit Rock. The upper half of that rock was black. The rest of the rock was light brown. I admired it, especially since it was formed by volcanic activity. This is really...More

We held the babies in our carriers and away we went on this beautiful walk! There are a few lookout spots as we did the circuit from the carpark and back to it so it wasn't a long walk like some in this area. We...More

Wear sturdy shoes, take your time. The walk from the bottom and across to Pulpit Rock is worth the effort. It can be slippery in some parts and watch the waves. Definitely take your camera. It's a great location for sunset photography.

We walked right down the the Pulpit Rock area, as close as we could get, over rocks and stones. Such a wonderful area.

This little beach at the end of the walk down from Cape Schanck lighthouse is magical. It's extremely secluded, we sat there in the afternoon for half an hour with nobody in sight. The sound of the waves running through the rocks is super cool...More

Another great walk in the Cape Schank area. Not as strenous as some but still has plenty of stairs but view makes it worth it.

You can't get to the lighthouse after hours at the moment but the walk to the beach is open. Personally, I wouldn't swim there. The beach is rocky and the water seems quite dangerous but it is beautiful and picturesque. If you are a photographer...More
