Delgatie castle is a great place to visit both for the history of the castle and for the Lairds kitchen. Very interesting castle in lovely grounds makes for a great day out.

This castle has the tower house open for visitors. Very interesting history and a much more personal experience with the notes written by the owner in the visitor rooms. A bit of a French touch and ceiling beams in some rooms are very interesting. Love...More

Yes - I would think so. When we visited, there was a group of 8 women arrived. They were expected and a table had been set out for them with a special afternoon tea selection.
