On our first full day in Japan, this was our very first stop. We took the train to Tama and got off at the adorably decorated station (all Sanrio themed), and followed the Tama area signs which all featured Hello Kitty and her family.
This place is very kawaii and a must for kawaii lovers and fans of hello kitty and sanrio, there are really kawaii shows, entertainments, foods, even the bathroom is kawaii. Everyting in this place is very kawaii, they sell really kawaii souvenirs as well. It...More
Small place but really nice! Meet all your favorite Sanrio characters! Really great for kids although I saw some teenagers as well...most likey fanatics of Hello Kitty/Sanrio. They have a show which runs twice a day I guess...We watched the one in the morning...only bummer...More
Agree with some reviewers, not a full day trip...probably 1/2 day. We waited almost an hour for the boat trip, which was a Japanese version of Disney's "Small World". All the Sanrio characters were there. No other "ride" there, mostly walking around enjoying the scenery...More
Booked tickets through an online site, way cheaper than on-site. They have live performances every hour. Don't worry when it rains because this one is indoors! Hold on to your wallet, though. Gift shops, restaurants and other super cute items that you won't be able...More

This is a super cute place with Sanrio characters. However, my 5 yr old daughter was a little bit disappointed since there were almost no rides and few interactive games. The only boat ride has a 60 min line, which we gave up immediately. It’s...More
For 30 min from Shinjuku, you can visit this Kawaii amusement park which based on Sanrio characters, like Hello Kitty, Pom Pom Pudding and My Melody.
You can enjoy a whole day even if it rains. It must make you smile that taking photo with...More

Go to Tama Central Park. The gardens, ponds, museums, shrines and buildings there are amazing. Good for photo-op. I remember there were foodtrucks there, not sure if it’s usually there or just during events or holidays.

Yes you need to purchase a ticket to be able to purchase merchandise inside the building. Puro Land has lots to offer. It may be simple outside, but inside its a wonderland for Hello Kitty lovers like me. Hope this helps
