We were here on a Monday in April, and we were practically alone. It was no line anywhere, could just go straight on to the rides. Main attraction was the Bandit, super fun roller coaster. Access from Shinjuku is super easy, only a 30 minutes train ride away.

On a weekday this place is GREAT because the lines are minimal and you pretty much have the place to yourselves. Which is good because there really isn't anything special about this park. It's old, fairly run down and in need of a face lift. Park maps are available in English and counter staff generally speak enough English to get... More

Very fun place to visit. It was cold out so it wasn't too busy. Definitely would recommend visiting. Wonderful time and not too far from the train station by taxi.

Went late afternoon, so we could go on the rides without the queues being too long and would still be there to see the amazing lights come on, that lit up all of the amusement park. These lights are on for Christmas and all through till Valentines day. Just beautiful. Different rides are suitable for toddlers through to adults. Be... More

Here for the summer firefly event held at "Seichi Park" on Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays in June - it is a 7-minute walk from the entrance of Yomiuri Land following the signs. Quite a few more fireflies than "Yuyake Koyake Fureai no Sato" near Takao but also a lot more people (including noisy children)! Don't expect to see fireflies everywhere though - some... More

I visited Yomiuriland with some friends in September 2015. We went primarily to ride Bandit and Momonga, it was a really nice park outside of Tokyo. Bandit is the signature ride, it was the fastest rollercoaster in the world when it was built in 1988. There are a few other rides, some for all the family, some for thrill seekers... More

There are great attractions, like the ferris heel, a roller coaster, houses with themed activities and so on. But the most interesting, and beautiful, part was the lights shown at night.

Yomiuriland is a traditional theme park. It is home to Bandit which is a very nice rollercoaster. I also really enjoyed the Togo Stand Up coaster.

The christmas lights here were spectacular! i have never seen vast areas and trees decorated so colourfully!! We took the cable car towards the place, and you could see the whole of the park- filled with different colours lights.. just amazing. you could not compare this to anything in the UK!! The rides had queues, but were not too bad-... More

Pretty nice amusement park. Paid the after 1600 admission price for all the rides and to enjoy the light show. Lots of places to eat. Staff is nice but doesn't speak much English. Not hard to navigate the rides or order food.
