Visited as part of a group from our cruise ship.

We had a brilliant time , our guide was very informative, interesting and a pleasure to listen to . We walked around the vines , saw the wine making process and tasted some wonderful wines in the garden area .

A lovely experience, we thoroughly recommend going .

Unfortunately we were not able to visit on the day the tickets were allocated but we were very generously allowed to reschedule. I’m so happy we were able to visit! The young lady who showed us around was lovely - extremely friendly and knowledgable. The history and workings of the winery were very interesting. We then had the tasting - it was really good - delicious wine and each was paired with a food which enhanced the flavour. We were sceptical at first but it really worked. The tasting was fun and rounded of a great couple of hours.

We booked the tour tasting and lunch. I wasn’t able to book direct on the web site, but communication with the winery in advance was very efficient. Found the bodega easily.
Tour was in Spanish and then English, so took nearly 2 hours. Nice location, producing about 500,000 bottles a year. Large group from Get Your Guide, as well as independent travellers. Tasted 3 wines with nibbles. Guide was very pleasant and spoke good English.
Winery also hosted a larger party upstairs at the same time (cruise excursion?) separately.
Lunch was 5 course, (tuna, scallops, octopus, beef, local dessert) and just one wine. Lasted another 2 hours. We then had to wait to pay and buy wine. So allow at least 4 hours for this package.
Bodega is partnered with a Rioja winery (which we have been to previously and really like) and you can buy their Rioja here as well. Was surprised at how expensive the wine was, but guess they take advantage of the high footfall.
Nice enough visit if you do not have your own transport, only have a passing interest in wine and need to ‘tick a box’.

Thoroughly enjoyed the wine tour and tasting. Very friendly and welcoming guide, we were allowed to stay a little longer to enjoy the remainder of our wines and snacks. Lovely variety of white wines, we opted to taste all four. Recommended.

The title says it all. A truly lovely property but the tour was short and non informative. The wine tasting was a variety of 3 different ones they produce with a bit of a cracker to o with it and some cheeses. All the wines were rather lackluster to our group but that of course is a matter of individual tastes. The pours were the smallest I have experienced. The owner founder made an appearance but his English was non existent so not much help to us. The whole atmosphere felt as if they were being put out by our presence. This visit was part of a cruise excursion. Just ho hum.

Tasting wonderful Granbazan wine in Estepona made us consider coming to Galicia on holiday this year, and we were delighted to be able to call in at the actual vineyard today.

Jèsus, the owner was incredibly friendly, informative and accommodating and personally spent several hours with us for an impromptu tour and tasting - no small thing just before harvest.

Its a beautiful vineyard and a stunning and unique house with some of the oldest vines in the region and the position of the winery above the beautiful village of Cambados and the Rias de Arousa make it an ideal spot to visit if you are in Galicia.

An unforgettable part of our trip, ten out of ten for us - many thanks Jèsus!

We were recently reminded of the times we were on holiday in Galicia.
Galicia offers very attractive landscapes of green hills and valleys, with
wonderful coastal scenery. The coast of Rias Bajas offers magnificent
views of cliffs and bays, wooded hills and sandy beaches. It reminded us
of our own Cornwall.

We enjoyed an unexpected bonus, when having left the small coastal
village of Cambados, we drove through a lovely old village to the summit
of a small hill, to discover a landscape of winefields together with the
impressive buildings of the bodega. It was a surprise, and we wanted
to know more.

We had a warm reception and were invited to a wine tasting! We bought
some. And returned in the following years to buy some more.
The brand is known as Granbazan. There is the Alberino Green and
the Alberino Amber. They are both delicious.

We no longer travel by car, but we strongly recommend a visit if
you lucky enough to be travelling in that area. You can we believe
contact them on their webpage - www.agrodebazan.com.
If you cannot find Grandbazan wines, email them and they will give
you a solution straight away.

A friend followed our advice and bought a bottle to remind us of those
lovely days.

I took a trip to the Agro de Bazan winery last week, and the whole experience was top notch! Id highly recommend it. First of all, the winery is located in a beautiful area of Galicia very near the sea. I was given a tour of the vineyards and winery by Jesus. He was friendly, charismatic, and most importantly very informative. He explained the different steps of their winemaking process and was more than open to answering any questions.
And lastly, the wine… Incredible.. Each wine that I tried stood out to me and special, and especially the Granbazan Ambar… it was one of the better Albarinos that I have tried here in Galicia.
Overall, a great experience, and highly recommended! Don't miss this winery!!

Our guide was Clara, and she was lovely! Super communicative and everything explained perfectly. The winery is wonderful and its wines even more so. Delighted with the experience.
