Tons of fresh fish, meat, poultry, vegetables and fruits. Neatly arranged, wonderfully displayed. What a joy it gave us to buy these fresh ingredients and make a wonderful meal out of them. We wish we had one in our neighborhood!

Fab indoor market, so much fresh fruit and veg and lovely produce. Definitely worth a look around even if you don't buy anything. Good place to go if you're on a cruise and don't fancy the beach.

Great to spend an hour looking around Mercado Central in Alicante; a bustling market with stalls selling fresh fish, seafood, vegetables, fruit and (upstairs) meat. The market has all the smells and noise you'd expect. There are several small cafes, but alas, we didn't have...More

Really easy. It's a 5 minute walk on one road heading towards past the Praça Lucerne. Or a taxi ride. No Uber in Alicante. Very simple. Very close.
