Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really lovely spot to visit in Rojales, nice views and the caves/ art is great. Could be better sign posted but overall a really nice place to visit - be aware it is a steep climb at points :)

Visted the craft market that is held the 1st Sunday of the month. Had a lovely stroll around the caves, craft shops and stalls. Enjoyed the music and the atmosphere. Lots of interesting art and the people were really friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quirky experience.

A hidden gem in a small town. Nice to stroll around in this area. We did not know it was so close to the city center, also we bumped by accident to the shell house. As the cueva's are around a hill, some climbing is needed.

The artists houses and exhibitions are worth a look on the 1st Sunday of every month. Also, every other Sunday there is a musical Jam near the top car park. Take a picnic and listen or join in with your own instrument/voice

Lovely little place to visit for a bite to eat and drinks near the River Segura. Easy walk to caves and Shell house from the river. The caves have music and art events the first Sunday of every month.

I really like going to this place. There's lots of cave houses made into artisan shops where you can get things from handmade purses and art to wishing trees and jewellery. It's best to visit in spring or autumn when the weather is not too hot or cold and just have a good mooch around. Check the website for when it's fully open: there could be a band on and you can take your own picnic and just take in the atmosphere. There are often other stalls there lining the walkways. Note that it is quite hilly.

Not far inland at Rojales which is a pretty Spanish town with the River Segura running through the centre. There is also a museum which is free and definitely worth a visit. The caves are uphill on one side of the river. There is a car park if you prefer to drive up.the houses were shut when we went but still looked interesting and probably worth revisiting when open. There appears to be a cafe and a shop both of which were closed as it was out of season and plenty of picnic benches. The houses are very interesting. Also next to the caves are the three crosses and if you have the stamina to get to the top great views
