Fantastic little gem of a museum. Well wort the visit if not just to see the gold jewellery recovered on a excavation. Brilliant.

Not enormous but packed with loads of interesting things. The curator was welcoming and more than willing to explain the items to us. The highlight at the end of the visit was seeing the gold hoard found locally. Ask about the iron bracelet.

They had some interesting items on display. It is not very large and can be completed quickly. I found the weaponry and gold pottery to be the most fascinating.
