Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We walked through the cemetery looking for names of my ancestors. realized this cemetery was established early 1900. The hotel staff said my ancestors were probably buried under the church Santa Maria d'Arenys de Mar

Catalonia's graveyards are fascinating places, and with its glorious seaviews, this is one of the best. Like the one in Lloret de Mar, it has magnicently flamboyant memorials in the Modernist style which, with their graceful female iconography, create a benign and serene atmosphere. This is a quiet, peaceful, green and spirit-enhancing place to visit. Not at all sad. It's worth the steep climb up from the station.

This is an amazing cemeteryThe people of Barcelona have this incredible way of remembering the dead.A very colourfull place and not sad at all.In fact it is a place where all the family go to enjoy the resting place of relatives and have a very happy time. There are many cemeterys throughout the city and surrounds and they all have this same feeling of happiness. They seem to change the perception that they should be sad places.A great experience...

We were told this was a famous cemetery, and one to see, but we were not expecting the most beautiful cemetery filled with colour and life.
A place for those parted but who are still celebrated as being part of the family.
A colourful, joyful, vibrant place to bring the entire family to remember with fondness the past.
Not a sad place at all, a place of love for all ages.
A place for those of the town to rest finally with their friends and neighbours in closeness and peace..... as they lived so they finally rest.
I think we in England, in small villages and towns could take something from this.......I just kept saying"how beautiful".
Extremely well worth a visit for a little peace and sense of what life, and death, is all about.
