This stunning coastal areas promises Caribbean worthy beaches and I'm sure when that sun shines you get just that. Parking is a challenge but if looking for quite, authentic beach bar free beaches. This is the place.

I was really looking forward to trying this beach. We were thoroughly disappointed. It is not a ‘wilderness’ beach and was in fact busier than our own resort beach which is surrounded by hotels. There is approx 20m of beach between the dunes and the...More

I love this beach! It has a feel of being miles from anywhere and although popular, I've always found that bacause of its size there is room for everyone. The road to the main car park is very narrow and a bit difficult when busy....More

Very long beach with a very interesting dune zone, now protected in order to prevent erosion. Very clean, quiet and blue water. We have walked along the shore of the beach from sa Colonia to sa Rapita, with the sea breeze and enjoying the sounds...More

I went here at the beginning of October and was still easy to have a bath in the sea. The beach is massive, a bit dirty with seaweed but nothing terrible. There are very big parking lots very close to the beach, in busy periods...More

Visited on recommendation of our resort. Beach is accessed from a track which gradually gets narrow and loose stone. There is a restaurant which has a car park, the parking charge is €10 a day but you get the 10 off your meal, so in...More

Large expanse of golden sand but plenty of washed up seaweed and litter too. Very quiet on a fine March weekend. No facilities so bring your own water but swimwear is optional.

You could close and open your eyes and believe you are in the Caribbean. Miles & Miles of unspoilt natural beach so come prepared with your own food & beverages as there are only a handful of scattered bars and restaurants along the way

I never saw a bus either. We rented a car as well. You may want to try the car rental route, it's cheap, fast, and a fairly easy place to drive around.

The road to the official car park is quite narrow so you're probably safer in a car! but we parked by the Marina at Sa Rapita and at the west end of Colonia and walked from there. You don't need to walk far to get the beach... More
