Floating Bar!

Girl friend and I traveled just to see the Floating bar. Everything was quite pricey due to the island being under developed. Staff were friendly.

The place is really beautiful! Reminds me of Boracay but less all the establishments and the people. We stayed fo a day trip and enjoyed swimming. Loved the ambience of the place. Their staffs are quite nice too ☺

Lakawon Island has recently seen a spate of developments after the devastation of Typhoon Yolanda and the face lift seems to have benefited the quiet coastal town. We did a day trip from Bacolod. We drove (about 1hr to cadiz) but anyone can easily ride a bus at the North Bus Terminal (might take a little longer) and ride a... More

I'm from Bacolod but never visited this place due to a lot of negative comments in terms of food and the place is very expensive. But for me to see is to believe. So Id try the day trip and its worth it because if you go for an overnight you have nothing to do during evening since Floating Bar is... More

I did experience the overrating part as some reviews had published, and some friends who warned me about the place. There are both good and bad sides. 1. Poor reservation line and service. I called like 4 dozen x to get a reservation and when I paid the full amount, emailed it to them. I did not receive any confirmation... More

This place is only 2hrs away from Bacolod. Very accessible and commuting is not a problem. Accommodations are decent and budget friendly. You may want to consider wearing aqua shoes because of there are lots of starfish wish can be very painful when stepped on. Also, not much to do on the island. No wifi, an on-again, off again signal... More

We took a day trip to Lakawon Island Resort during our Bacolod vacation. If you're staying at Bacolod City, you can ride a jeepney to Bata and ask the driver to drop you off at the Northbound Terminal (Ceres). Ask for the platform for all buses going to Cadiz. The entire 1hr & 30mins trip to Cadiz will cost you... More

If you're up for a day trip to the beach while in Negros, then Lakawon is the best option. It's the closest white beach from Bacolod. An hour and a half ride from Bacolod or an hour from the Silay-Bacolod airport, plus a 30 min boat ride going to the island. Currently, development is ongoing in the island. It has... More

We booked 2 Pearl's Place Room beside each other but we were given 2 rooms that were not beside each other because they gave the room we booked to somebody else. The place is nice but there is nothing much you can do in the island other than swimming on the beach, unless you want to pay extra for a... More
