Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really noticed that all of the young people working here are super friendly, professional and well-trained. From reception to the cafe to the wetsuit hire to the lifeguards. The park itself is excellent. We had loads of fun and highly recommend.

We've been meaning to go here for years. I'm so glad we finally made it. My girls (8 and 10) loved the aqua park as did I. My youngest particularly loved how she was the best at some of the obstacles as for once her lack of size worked in her favour. I'm now set to head back by myself for the wakeboarding. The staff were all so incredibly welcoming and everything is so very well organised. Even the water was a surprisingly pleasant temperature. The easiest 5-star review I've given in a long time.

Charging for parking at a venue (with almost non existent obvious signposts) captured by big brother style hidden CCTV, where you are sinking big cash into using the facilities already (which can’t be accessed in any other way) is absolutely appalling. Receiving a £50 fine after what was otherwise a great experience completely marred a birthday day out. I will be taking this up down every route possible. The worst kind of modern day profiteering.

Had a great time at the water park , went with kids aged 10,13 and 16 and all loved it. Their favourite part however was the lovely food and particularly the choice of gluten free options; pizzas and burgers- my son said it was the best Gf burger he’s ever had. 10/10!

Great place, kids love it every time we come. Great hour spent jumping around.
Only suggestion would be to try and improve the experience for spectators, it isn’t much fun eating/ drinking while be attacked by flies, wasps and midges. In 10 minutes I was stung twice by wasps.

The water facilities are great. The water park is good fun. However charging for parking and not allowing picnics put me off for visiting it again. After swimming kids had some snacks and a woman from a cafe came in and told us we are not allowed to eat or drink our own food. Really? We weren't using cafe benches and we're sitting further away from the cafe. Their policy is ridiculous not allowing kids to eat if their parents can't afford to buy cafe overpriced food. The experience put me off from visiting it again.

Visited here on a coldish day, was concerned we would be cold as you do end up falling in the water - that is part of the fun. On arrival informed that lake was 21c, warmer than air temp, and that wet suit entirely our choice. We didn't bother and it was fine. Got ourselves a locker, for the £3 padlock charge. Not sure if you can have free access if you take your own padlock. Changing facilities were OK not amazing not awful, I did see staff cleaning them. Lots of little flies around.
Watch out for the parking, it uses number plate recognition, so probably unforgiving . I bought 2 hours worth thinking this would be more than enough, as it turned out once you've been through the whole process (arrive 30mins early, safety briefing, changing in and out) you are going to be there for 2 hours even for a 1 hour session. We had 5 mins to spare.

Do you think charging for parking was a good move? 😆

Sadly when it was free people parked there for dog walks, other NF activities and there wasn’t the parking for water park customers. I don’t like the parking charge however I’m happy to pay as it’s a great place and I do like to have a space on the site for my car.

Is barefoot fine for the aqua park or would you recommend special footwear? (I don’t think anything is available to borrow at the site at present)

Which is better- Neptune or Poseidon? (Currently you have to choose just one when making your booking and you cannot cross between)

There is very little difference between the two, the park has been divided to allow for two smaller sessions to run this year but they have tried their best to ensure that both parks have something for everyone. If you look on their website it shows the pictures of the each park so you can choose which you prefer the look of :)

Hi, may be a daft question, I was wondering how good the life jackets are? I can swim, but not overly confident when falling/jumping directly into deep water, but really want to try this place out! Will I float back to the surface quick enough with them? Thanks.

Life jackets were very buoyant so you should be fine

I’m a nervous parent, my daughter can swim fine but slightly over protective, So can someone please say how many lifeguards are about?

It's very safe, there is a 15 minute security video everybody has to attend and there are always 2 lifeguards

Going with a mixed group adults and kids. Would you recommend the wet suits or not bother?
