Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It looks a bit ramshackle as you approach but is fine. A largish pool at a comfortable temperature and no unpleasant smell. There are further facilities down steps but we did not try these. The showers did not work but it was a pleasant way of relaxing after a long day.

Found the hot springs nice and hot when the temperature outside was so low.
There was nothing spectacular or unusual about the place. There were Turkish baths and private Jacuzzis at the bottom of the valley by the river but we did not use the facilities there. I had limited time and therefore could not enjoy the place

We stopped here to relax after a long day of touring. The water is nice and warm. There are showers. The changing rooms are very clean. There are private bathing rooms but our visit was short and we didn’t use those.

This is an excellent Spa, more of a luxury and ever so clean. There are some facilities easily manageable, and then there are some more spa, right at the bottom near the river, and that can be a hike to get down and up again later. You will need a car to get here and hopefully spend a day relaxing.

What a lovely place, the water is so warm and relaxing. we made the effort to walk down to the lower level which was well worth the trek as we were the only ones in the pool. Very cheap too.

Very basic warm hot spring fed pool. Nothing special. You can buy poolside drinks which is nice. Probably would not want to spend more than 15 mins in the pool. Appears to be clean

After a day of trekking, we've enjoyed to relax in the hot spring.
It's a basic hot spring pool but very clean and just what you need after another day of Peruvian beauty.

We had an early start to Colca Canyon and it was a very relaxing way to finish our days sight seeing. We had the springs to ourselves and felt very relaxed after our time here.

A short drive from the Aranwa hotel and about 20 minutes by car from Chivay. Well managed hot springs. Only 15 sol to enter and you can spend as long or as little time as you want. Changing rooms and showers. Also a small bar.

The views are nice but the 'hot springs' are just pools. Full of people. With a bar. I've visited other hot springs in Peru and was unimpressed with this one. I was on a two day tour of Colca Canyon and I think I should have skipped this 'optional' excursion and taken some time for myself.

I don't remember seeing towels for rent so all I had with me was a camp towel, which I also needed to use for my shower when I returned to the hostel. I definitely didn't feel 'clean' for any of this trip.
