Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

By far the best mall in Bohol. A decent selection of stores and a supermarket which carries a wide variety of stock. My two issues with the supermarket are:
1/ stock control, as an item available yesterday may not be back on the shelf for an extended period. I don’t know if this is the fault of the supermarket or their supplier, or possibly a combination of both.
2/ they have recently started charging for boxes used to pack your goods. I now grab some empty ones from the aisles and use those at the checkout.
Parking can also be difficult at busy times but I’ve alway been able to find a spot.

this shopping mall is very huge with plenty of parkings, cinemas, restaurants, fashion outlets, offices for rent, leasing and quite easy to go by mototaxi with only 30 peso from downtown Tagbilaran. or by jeepney.

Bohol Island City Mall is one of the most prestigious and grandest shopping centers in the entire province of Bohol. It contains three floors featuring cinemas, specialty stores, and a department store. The only thing that put us off was that strange odour around the cinema area...

I have lived in Bohol as a foreigner for 5 years now. I have shopped in the supermarket at ICM the entire time. Last night my wife and I were singled out among 20 plus people waiting in a "hand carry" only line. I had 7 items in a brow hand carry basket as did everyone else in the line. I had been waiting for 20 minutes already in line when the cashier made it a point to stop working, approach us as we were still 10 people back, and tell us we had to leave the line because we had the same basket all the other Filipinos in line had. As she said that other people put their baskets down and put their items in their hands, many had more items than i did. I had 7 items that I could carry in my hands.the truth is, workers at ICM are out of control when it comes to dealing with foreigners so tourist, be warned. There is a growing anti-foreigner sentiment in Bohol, with trikes, customer service and merchants. Be prepared to have to deal with that and have local Boholanos tell you they are so hospitable.

This is the nicest mall on Bohol and has the usual variety of chain stores and the obligatory supermarket in the basement which carries a variety of foods including some western choices. The biggest downside is inadequate parking and almost constant crowds and delays in the supermarket. They just opened a new and much nicer eatery area on the 3rd floor that is worth visiting and the movie theater is rarely busy and quite nice. Another benefit is that mall has backup electric generators so on the power outage days, it gets very busy with people looking for something to do and staying cool.

If you are new in this place like you just landed Bohol or Tagbilaran city in particular whether from pier or airport just take a tricycle ride to Island City Mall. Because our place is small so considered the mall not as big as SM or Robinsons, etc. however, you will still find things that you want... there were good restos inside (sea foods restos), and also inside the fashion department you can see many local handicraft things that you want to buy good for souvenirs.

NOTE: just do not pay the tricycle driver more than 30 or 40 pesos.

Modern, clean and well organised.
Good selection of shops and restaurants
However, the fact that there is no undercover parking is a nuisance.
Alturas and BQ have both undercover parking which makes them more convenient, also they are both located in town center.

Island City Mall is only a short distance away from the Dao Integrated Bus Terminal. You can get groceries here and even medicine. There are also a lot of restaurants and pokestops. A lot of trikes are just outside the mall.

One wonders where all these people actually come from and whether or not they have jobs or schools to go to! This place is almost always packed and offers a host of shops with an inordinately large number of restaurants. The 3-floor shopping complex is like a mecca for native residents and tourists alike. If you have never been to Tagbilaran, you should know that all malls and major public establishments are all manned by well dressed (often armed) security guards who check your bags and belongings before entry. While the measure seems draconian, the added security detail is a welcome nice-to-have.

The one thing this place could use is underground and/or indoor parking. It's often difficult to find a spot to park but if you're looking to cool off while shopping, this is a recommended destination

This mall was not crowded when we visited. It has a well stocked department store and a good ground floor level supermarket.
