This shrine is located in Barangay Bool and is a iconic bronze sculpture created in 1999 by a world-renowned Boholano National Artist, Napoleon Abueva, depicting the first treaty of friendship between Spanish explorer Captain Miguel Lopez de Legaspi and local chieftain Datu Sikatuna in the...More

This is not the official site of where the blood compact took place but rather statues that represent it. Down the street about 100 meters lies the actual location with a shrine that marks the official location of where history took place. Go there and...More

The monument is located in a very small location close a hotel along the main road. More people invading the place selling souvenir. No plate giving explanations of the historical event.

There isn't much to look at and no visible information about the significance of the site unless you've already read up on it or are with a guide. I just saw a previous reviewer has mentioned what I noted as well - that tourists are...More

Kind of boring. Could use a plaque or something with more history to it. Also not helpful for the scenery that immediately to the east is a hotel/restaurant.

It's just a monument with historic significance. You can visit this to click a few pictures etc. You wont be missing much even if you skip it.

Historical landmark is destroy by the hotel next to it. When you travel without a Guide you probably missed this place, no signage or anything. Just take a photo or two and proceed to another spot in bohol.
