Nice little museum showing history of Bohol. Learnt how Chocolate Hills are formed. Interesting articles on local food especially the video on how salt are being processed in the old days. Good place to get away from the heat & cool down

This attraction is free to the public. If you're at the plaza you can just walk and have a quick view at the musuem. The fossils (preserve remains of human, animals, and plants) struck my attention the most. There were also old vases and old paintings in the area.

This is just a short walk (5-10 minutes max) in which you will be shown the famous animal (sleeping most of the time). yes it is a cute and very small animal, but if you are very lucky you will see it with eyes opened. Otherwise, it is just you see in the picture.

I love museums so it doesn't take much to get an excellent rating from me for a museum. It had a lot of history of the island plus I got to see some primates.

Rather small but infornative enough as far as Bohol is concerned. Covers prehistory, flora and fauna, Spanish colonial period and local history. Free of charge!

A relatively small museum at the heart of the city. Free admission. A nice place to spend your 20 minutes or so. Visit the museum if you want to know more about Bohol island, its rich history and culture. Tip: There's a small room on the left corner of the museum (which might not be immediately noticeable, we thought it... More

It's a good place to take the younger generation so they can appreciate how it was then. Looking at the old stuff brought some memories of years past.

Small museum in the centre of Tagbilaran City. It's basically two rooms, which the second one has decoration and paintings worth looking a moment or just sit down for a while. The bigger room has taxidermied animals - if not your taste better not visit. Also featuring some rocks and items from past. I found it quite interesting for it's... More
