The Shin-Marunouchi Building is one of the newer buildings in Marunouchi and has five floors of good restaurants 9mostly) and above that an office tower. One restaurant that has been a favorite and has maintained high standards and good value is Salt by Luke mangan, an Australian chef. There is access to Tokyo Station underground.

The Shin-Marnouchi Building boast good shopping and good restaurants, one of many plush skyscrapers in this area. When you walk around here you have a feeling that the Japanese economy is live and well. I have eaten excellent unagi in a restaurant in this building several times.

I went to Tokyo on business in May and September 2016. The Shin Marunouchi building is near Tokyo Station and across from the Marunouchi Building. The Shin Marunouchi is an office building but it also has 6-7 floors of restaurants and a large underground shopping area with a lot of food shops. I always enjoy walking around here before or... This is a relatively new building that houses some very good restaurants. It is just opposite the Tokyo station on Marunouchi Dori and two blocks back from the Imperial Palace moat. You can access the building underground from Tokyo station and there are escalators to the six floors of restaurants and shops. On the sixth floor you will find Luke... More

The building is nicely decorated - appropriate for a historic location. A fair selection of shops but not that great unless you have an affinity for those brands. Cafes and restaurants in the basement and upper levels allow for a break from walking and sofas/seats on some floors by the escalators which is nice. You should expect prices to be... More

This shopping center was very elegant. I am new to Japan so the whole experience was new to me. Lots of room to relax (I envisioned me actually enjoying my girlfriend shopping while I could relax in a sofa...well until my Credit card would run dry anyways) and a great many restaurants.

During our stay in Tokyo, we ended up in this building by chance because we were looking for a food court to grab a quick lunch. At the 5th floor there is a great selection of restaurants for all tastes. The building is very close to Tokyo Station and it is on the way to the Imperial Palace and Garden.

In downtown Tokyo, make a detour to gaze inside this building and its many, wonderful stores. It is magnetic. It is the younger brother of the Maranouchi building next door which features some great expensive and moderate restaurants.

very new office building with shopping arcade and lots of restaurants to choose from. If you are a foreign traveler and appreciate Japanese brands shopping, this is a place near Tokyo Main Station but very much less-crowded and easy to shop around without hassles. If you don't want to spend time in the very popular Tokyo Station which is actually... More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago.
