very new office building with shopping arcade and lots of restaurants to choose from. If you are a foreign traveler and appreciate Japanese brands shopping, this is a place near Tokyo Main Station but very much less-crowded and easy to shop around without hassles. If you don't want to spend time in the very popular Tokyo Station which is actually... More

Superb food in an informal setting. The BBQ are set down in the table so they don't get in the way of conversation and incredibly high quality, fresh food (Beef - amazing, scallops - incredible) keeps coming all evening

Excellent variety of restaurants - Japanese and western - upstairs (5th floor, I think) and in the basement, which itself connects to Tokyo Station.

Pleasant surprise to find some restaurants open until very late at night here. The restaurants are up on the approx 5th-7th floors and many are open well after midnight.

I loved both the Shin-marunouchi and the regular Marunouchi buildings, because they contain several floors crammed with stores, restaurants, etc., all in highest style. You could literally spend hours in here and not see the same item twice.

Take your time to browse the building. The customers are dressed as trendy as the shops. Arrows, Beams, Tomorrowland are all here.

We always return here for restaurant hunt! Unfortunately not all restaurant here accept toddler with strollers. But still have lot to choose from. We entered an okinawan resto but left after realizing there was limited menu choices for us. We ended up in a tempura place, which was great.

Apparently the building's construction came with a hefty price tag, which really shows from the moment you see the facade till you enter the shops. Keeping in line with the rest of the Marunouchi neighbourhood, this building exudes an old-world charm that makes it a great place to while away the entire afternoon just shopping and having tea.

So many choices to choose from. We went to an Okinawan restaurant that was fantastic. I forget the name, but it's the only one with Okinawa in the name, I believe.

Located across from the historical and recently renovated Tokyo Station, the Shin-Marunouchi Building is really the epitome of a relaxed shopping environment. I've been to many shopping arcades/centers throughout Asia and haven't come across anything similar in terms of theme, comfort (many, many places to sit and lounge!), decor, as well as store and restaurant selection! Among others, there is... More
