It is located near Meguro station. The institute preserved a sanctuary for plants and animals which have rarely been observed in the heart of Tokyo city. Although it is relaxing, unfortunately not excited me.

You can walk by this park and not imagine its size or significance. Few tourists consider visiting it but it is worth a stop and a stroll for an hour or so. Quiet, serene, natural, hence the name. Negligible entrance fee.

I have fond memories of this park when we lived in Shirokanedai from 1998-2000. Thankfully, nothing has changed. They still only allow a limited number of visitors (though I have never seen it full) and it is a very relaxing area in a very busy...More

As a nature lover who normally travel for outdoors experiences this was an absolute treat. Visited the park on a weekday morning and my kids and I had the whole thing more or less to ourselves. There are several paths throughout the park, winding through...More

In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with
luxury residential buildings and the scene is
constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama
park and Togoshi park are great places to see
beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as
well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a
post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish
old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa
