Good place in Roppongi to shop. Right by the Grand Hyatt. There is an observation deck around to watch everything

We had read great reviews about Roppongi Hills being one of the best places for shopping in Japan and an absolute must-see, but we left a bit disappointed. It’s true that there a number of high-end brands in the area, but they’re the same international names you can see in basically every major city in the world. Perhaps it was... More

Was only able to stop by for a few hours in the evening but walking around you see that there is so many different shops and restaurants scattered around the area. We were able to get nice views of Tokyo Tower from the main shopping floor but they do have a sky view deck which we didn't have time to... More

Bit of a expat area but at the same time so much more. Entertainment to the hilt, shopping galore, restaurants, high rises, etc. One of my usual stops while in Tokyo.

Awesome view of Tokyo if you can get to some of the higher floors. However, the area is probably too westernized if you are looking for a more transitional Japanese feel.

Roppongi Hills offers an amazing 360 view of Tokyo from its city view and sky view decks, however this is not the place for shopping, in my opinion. The majority of the stores are high end international brands and when I am in Japan for shopping (being from the U.S.) that is not the kind of shopping I am looking... More

Roppongi Hills was a chic, high end shopping mall. I went there to the Tokyo City View Starry Show cross over 'Your Name'.

We took the time to go to Roppongi Hills because we heard so much about it, however it was very disappointing. It was like a regular big shopping mall in America. The observation deck was not worth it either. Save your time and money and explore another part of Tokyo.

I visited Roppongi Hills for a few times. To be honest, I personally do not find a particular attraction in the area. A commercial complex which combines with arts, music, local radio and television stations. But overall, when compared with places like Hong Kong or London, I find Roppongi Hills is a local Japanese business districts but fails to capture... More

Went to Roppongi Hills at night, during the spring period and it was memorable. At 9PM it was packed with couples and wanderers alike. However, not many foreigners or tourists were in sight so be sure to check Roppongi Hills at night time!
