翻譯 There are gundam museum, Statue of Liberty and Rainbow Bridge. There is a 1:1 high gundam in Odaiba. If you like the gundam this is the best place to travel. Many people go that because of that. There is a gundam museum "Gundam Front Tokyo" and gundam coffee near as well. You may take a rest in the gundam... More

Plenty of diverse activities, including viewing the giant Gundam in Divercity, riding the Ferris Wheel, test driving vehicles at the Toyota Amlux showroom, or taking in all the interesting architecture.

Try to get the front car on the monorail for the best views. We rode from Shimbashi to the end of the line, then returned and got off at the Ferris wheel. We went to the observation deck of the Fuji building for great views. Tramped through several of the malls, ate at a food court and returned to the... More

Spent few hours there, tried the Ferris Wheel, nice view from the top. I like the robot too, huge and beautiful. Have fun with my kids on game machines, spent some money on it but had great family time.

We walked around odaiba- saw the Fuji TV building, the 60 ft Gundan robot. The minu- statue of liberty, and visited the science and technology museum. It was great Nd would have lived to come back to check out some if the many amusement centers with the kids.

Fun little day trip from Tokyo. Caught a monorail-like train line with no driver and a glass window at the front over the water which was pretty cool. Once there, we saw the Statue of Liberty replica and the giant gundam robot which even lit up and started moving at 4pm. Was a cool day!

We arrive there in the early afternoon (~ 1530 still good daylight) on a sunny day, and stay until dark including the sun setting which colored the place in breathtaking sight. We enjoy all the sights walking from the mall to the sea front. The architecture of the entire area is amazing! The views of the city from the sea... More

Definitely check this place. It is a short 'day excursion' from Tokyo (get there by ferry or by a combination of trains). Once there you can literally spend the day checking the many 'attractions' found here: shopping malls, lookout point, ferries wheel, Toyota cars display and much more. Make sure you walk near the Statue of liberty area and spend... More

Just an ordinary city by the Tokyo bay. Locals visit this place to shop. Nothing fancy, they have fast fashion shops, food court and thats it. If you are a Gundam addict them you can visit this place for the Gundam statue. Not a good tourist spot as it has nothing to offer.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
