About
Fruit cutting and carving are amazing skills that create a more beautiful, delightful, and fragrant fruit to eat. In our academy, fruit artist Taizo Hirano will offer his many years of know-how and experience to teach those who not only hope to become an expert and improve their technique but also to instruct anyone who is interested in learning the art of fruit cutting. Our desire is to invite and present to one and all the wonderful world of fruit and how it can make our lives healthier, wealthier and wiser.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Without exaggeration, my few hours spent with the fruit artist and chef Taizo and his collaborator Asuka from the Fruit Academy were some of the most fabulous of my life.
Out of the fantastic learning in anything related to fruit cutting and carving, it has also been an amazing human experience.
The place is at about 10 minutes by train from Shinjuku station and at 30 seconds from Toritsukasei station. It is a little unnoticeable place but what a fantastic place!
I am looking forward to take more classes at the Fruit Academy and can't recommend enough to any fruit, cook and/or pastry passionate to give a try.
