We spent an hour trying to connect with no luck. So frustrating! There is a signal but some problem with the gateway page. The woman at the airport information counter insisted the wifi was working- even as another traveler came up to complain that it wasn't...

I made international connecting flights at this terminal, the signs are clear and easy to follow through, no long walk , no hassle, effectively managed security check, clear announcements for the passengers and not too many duty free shops for shopping before boarding.

All airports in the world should be like this. Design with intelligence and user feeling to it. And the crown jewel is the observation deck. If you have some time to spare go up to the 5th floor and see some planes taking off and landing.

Great signage, easy to find where you need to go. We were able to easily take the bus from the airport into town. There is a big information counter when you first enter after customs. They are very helpful.

Wow this is how airports should be. Everything flows smoothly. The outdoor observation deck is amazing and something that more airports should have. It's a great way to kill some time. The interior is also nice to look at with the food court area made up to look like a Japanese street.

The terminal is unusually quiet for an airport. There is an entire Japanese-themed walk, with plenty of great restaurants. If you are staying at the Royal Park Haneda Hotel it's just a short walk to the restaurants. There is a spectacular viewing terrace. Security is quick without much of a queue.

Not sure what more you would expect. It's free. There are drinks machines there and if it's cold weather look carefully, some of the drinks are hot. Through some automatic doors there are also some flight simulators which are fun for kids and adults.
