Nice view from here. You can see the Tokyo Tower far ahead. The planes taking off are pretty cool to see

No matter what time of arrival at Haneda Airport, there were optional choices of ground transportation.

Came and went from Haneda on a recent trip to Japan. All worked fine, easy connections and good facilities

Tokyo International Airport is truly international. It is accessible easily by monorail from Hamamatsucho Station or by train from Shinagawa Station. Much closer and far more international than Narita.

Big and spacious airport. Staff and officer are friendly. Queueing time for custom and immigration was super long despite most counter are open. Quite stuffy doing the queue. Overall a good airport

Although smaller in size, the airport is definitely easier to access to the city centre. And with closer access, you need less time to travel and cheaper on the pocket too.

Nothing specially fancy about the observation deck but a good place to plane watch. Across the runways you can see the domestic terminal too. There are picnic tables if you wish to eat outside along with vending machines for drinks. Along the fence at the edge of the large deck there are touch screens that give information, in a variety... After dinner in May 2016 at Haneda, I went for a walk around the airport. There are some restaurants that overlook the observation deck, being outside. You can dine and watch the plane traffic. I just went outside and watched it from the observation deck instead.

The wifi network connection in Haneda is very poor and you would be frustrated. I advised you buy or rent a pocket wifi network but you must do that with a credit card.
