Not much of a cafe but a cute tiny place to interact with small and big owls. It's fun if you are an animal lover.

I think going to a cafe is something that must be done while in Japan because it can't be done anywhere else... but there might be a reason for that... didn't love that the owls were tied but they were given breaks which is more...More

Easily accessible, near Ikebukuro Station. Better to make a reservation as it’s a small unit. There’s a wide variety of owls in different sizes. The smaller ones (palm sized) seem well taken care of but the bigger ones seem trapped in a small room. They...More

Fun way to start our afternoon by hanging out with owls. Friendly staff and not rushed. Reservations suggested unless you go on a weekday which we did. Overall great experience

The owls are adorable and friendly. You can tell that their caretakers love their job. But don't be mistaken, this is more of an owl petting zoo than a cafe. That's how it is with most animal cafes in Japan it seems. This place is...More

We decided to go because we thought it would be a cool experience, but when we arrived we couldn't help but feel guilty. There are roughly 20 owls, in a roughly 300sq ft room, with 6-8 visitors and 4-5 handlers. It felt busy, and it...More

Great fun, cute owls, plenty of time to spend with them. Recommend the experience. Don't do it just for a cafe experience!

Ikebukuro is an area of massive development. Several
thousand tenants occupy two giant department stores
and shopping malls, where all sorts of shopping and
gourmet foods can be enjoyed. The 60-story building at
