There is a lovely, although pricey, cafe on the top floor of the tourist centre. From here you'll be able to see straight down the souvenir shopping mall (Nakamise-dori) and get a birds eye view of the Thunder Gate/iconic red lantern.

Had a great time from the moment on i was entering the building. Originally I didnt know its a tourist information, ended up spending 2 hours in here just going through the exhibiton, on the rooftop and strolling around. Great modern architecture. Simplistic. Straight. Easy....More

This place is a nice rest stop after touring the Asakusa area. It also offers a lot of information for tourists about Tokyo. The biggest draw though is the view from the top floor with no charge for entrance.

You can find information here together with other tourist. You can see miniature of Asakusa and if you go to level 8 you'll see the Temple and Tokyo SkyTree

I went to see the building's architecture and view of Asakusa from the roof but I was impressed by the high quality of information the staff had. Any question! And the top floor balcony is covered so is a good place to sit and rest...More
