Yoshimi was a terrific hostess. I learned so much in short time about not only cooking the dishes on the menu, but Japanese food, culture, and dining etiquette. Next time I'm back in Tokyo, I'll be taking another class!

We were able to grab the last two spots for the cooking class with Yoshimi. Since she limits the number of people we felt fortunate. On top of that, we got the Sushi class, which was our preference. Yoshimi met us with the rest of...More

I've attended two classes with Tokyo Kitchen. The class format is simple. There's a good introduction to Japanese cuisine (which is not boring) before you start cooking. Yoshimi is very professional and fun to work with. She will teach you the shortcuts to making good...More

Everything was top notch with this class. The food of course was delicious, but the quality of the instruction and handouts were excellent. The kitchen was clean and well organized. There is a bathroom and easy to access hand washing area right there. The whole...More

Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping
