As we were staying at The Pier Hotel we looked to see if there was a show on at the theatre. There was. 'Musicals from the West End & Broadway'.
This is a very historical building & unusual as you book a table rather than sitting in rows, which really appealed to us. Drinks are available at the bar to take to your table.
Staff were very Accommodating as a mistake had been made (by us) & we were able to sit in a more suitable position for which we were grateful.
Tickets were very reasonably priced at £12 each.

Just attended the opening night of ‘Pantostein’. What a fab panto - great cast and fun storyline with some memorable songs thrown in as well.
The theatre itself has tons of old school charm, and the staff were very helpful with quick service. Plus there is an app to order drinks to save going to the bar.

Six middle aged friends had an absolutely superb night out at this theatre watching the Summer Showtime 2021 show. This really is how entertainment should be – just a thoroughly good old fashioned seaside show with excellent singing, dancing and comedy. It gave us all such a warm happy feeling to be part of the audience and we would certainly come back to watch similar shows.

We visited during Heritage week and it was a treat to see this oddly interesting building. It's well worth a visit ... tours are once a month I think

While on holiday in Norfolk ,we were looking online for entertainment one evening and saw a Deep Purple / Led Zeppelin tribute band were appearing at the Pavilion Theatre at Gorleston on Sea, booked the tickets, arrived at the theatre ,the staff were very helpful and the bar was stocked, the buildings architecture was very impressive and well looked after for its age, the show was a cabaret setting with tables and chairs, it was very busy, the first half of the performance the 4 members of the band sung Deep Purple songs, the second half was Led Zeppelin songs, the vocals by the lead singer was terrific and the musician's ,2 guitars and drums were amazing, it was a great night in great setting and we hope Purple Zeppelin go far.

Something I have always wanted to do,what a gem of a place backstage on roof in dressing rooms. The stairs unbelievable thin steps in backstage to stage.upstairs was like the 1940 visit. We spent a pleasant 2 hours guided round with Luke's guidance.well done luke,£3.00 was the cost what a steal, this tour needs to be at least five pounds.dont think anyone moan at that, best money I have spent in years. shame Not do more of the tours.

Went today for a backstage tour. Ridiculously cheap (£3), lasted well over an hour, very informative and fun. Do go to a future tour. You won't regret it.

Everyone we visit this theatre we have a fantastic experience . The atmosphere is electric and the seating and lighting are if a great order . The staff are always attentive and nothing is to much trouble . This building is over a 100 years old and is so well cared for although I know they are always grateful for donations . We all need to support these assets for now and future generations I recommend fully .

Visited between Christmas and New Year to see the panto. Lovely, quirky theatre with seating set up around tables of 6 where you could get drinks (alcohol, soft drinks and coffees) to enjoy at your table whilst you watched the show. Prices were reasonable.

This place deserves local support and we will be back at least a couple of times in 2020 to see some of the interesting tribute acts and shows that are scheduled.

A veritable little gem!
