    Splash pad closed
Came here as staying at scratby nearby and wanted to look at a different beach. Main reason for choosing here is that they had a splashpad but it was turned off? I know it's not peak season, but it's close enough!! Big sandy beach. Would recommend beach shoes at the shore line has lots of pebbles which are uncomfortable to walk on. Lots of sandy space to bunker. Little bit of litter which surprised me as I thought Norfolk beaches were supposed to be amazing. Nearby toilets, parking and shop and icecream and chip shop. If in the area I'd come here again

    Brilliant lifeguards
This is not so much of a review (even though it's a beautiful beach, where you can pick a spot hundreds of metres from anyone else,) but a thank you to the lifeguards there. My 3 year old stood on some broken glass today, and cut his foot very badly. The lifeguards, who are obviously first aid trained, were there within a couple of minutes, and provided first aid and cleaned the wounds until we could get to A&E for him to have some stitches. And as I said, it's a beautiful, semi deserted beach.

    Well worth a visit
Lovely long beach, free carparking on the road was great. On the top there is a play park and tennis courts, unfortunately, the toilets here were disgusting but as they are the only ones around we didn't have a choice to use them. Long walk down to the beach from the road, unless you go down further along under the old bridge, but well worth a visit. On our second visit we found the water park and boating lake on the beach and also the bars/restaurants ice cream shops etc. Would recommend if you have young children.

    Weekend Away
What a lovely beach especially when it’s 30 degrees! We had booked an apartment about 4 miles away so very close . Our dog loved it & yes it is dog friendly . Sunbathed for hours ! Had an ice cream which as expected wasnt the cheapest but they were good. Lots of little coloured huts and a walk all along the front made for a great afternoon .

    Beautiful beach, worth a visit
Gorleston is one of my favourite beaches. It is absolutely beautiful and there is The Marina Cafe there that does incredibly delicious fish and chips. We have also tried a salad from The Hatch and that was also very tasty. There is a splash park for the younger children to enjoy. If you are going to swim in the sea I would advise to wear some beach shoes as there are a few pebbles although the beach is mostly sandy. Well worth a visit

Very big clean beach. We set up camp below the tennis courts near to the sea.. Stoney with sand near the sea.
Nice and quiet away from the lifeguard part where all the families are.

Could spend hours here.
Toilets not too far away either.
