桐ケ谷斎場とはバス通りを挟んで目と鼻の先にあるお寺です。境内は車の乗り入れられるように舗装された空間がとても広く、植栽が隅の方にしかないので、小ぎれいではあるものの少々殺風景な雰囲気です。ちょうど火葬場の前に位置することから、葬儀用の会館としても使用されている施設のようです。また、敷地外の歩道側や建物の入口にパンフレットが置かれていて、手に取ってみたら納骨堂好評販売中の広告でした。都会の中の、よく整備された、機能が特化したお寺という印象を受けました。
