Personally I loved the sea view that the place offers, but Tennozu Isle isn't by itself a tourist destination to visit, so it might not cater to all of your specific needs. Filled with skyscrapers and lots of business buildings, the place gives you one...More

I'm familiar with this area having worked in one of the skyscrapers for something like five years and living just a monorail stop away. In terms of recreation or fun? There's not much. There's a small shopping center where the Tennozu Isle monorail stops at....More

As the first stop on the monorail line, this neighbourhood might not be top on your list of places to see in Tokyo. While not quite the Venice of the Far East, a walk by the canal is quite pleasant. Nice restaurants and modern architecture...More

It's great to enjoy yourselves in the beautiful city of Tokyo and the amazing country of Japan. There are some lovely galleries and shops here! But it's also important to know history. Tennozu Isle was build by forced POW labor, including that of my grandfather's,...More

It is mainly a district of tall offices, linked with pedestrian ways above the ground. It is well connected with buses, monorail, metro. Lots of convenience stores, restaurants.

Looking from afar, or from the passing Monorail (which stops here) you might not think there's much reason to go. But there's a really good brewery- restaurant, several good restaurants (including a pizzeria with almost- as- good- as- Napoli pizza), nice walks along the canal...More

I think this place is not so suitable for the sightseeing, it's mainly for business, so you couldn't enjoy the trip. But the structure or buildings in this area are very organized so you can enjoy "Tokyo-nization".

I stayed at Toyoko Inn in Tennōzu Isle and really enjoyed the place. There is a park for people to stroll and walk their dogs, especially during good weather. There are also some cozy restaurants and beer house in the area. Around noon time, there...More

Looks like an offices area with some hotels, and a 2 stations on monorail and rinkai line. Convenient place to put up at Shinagawa area.

In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with
luxury residential buildings and the scene is
constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama
park and Togoshi park are great places to see
beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as
well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a
post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish
old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa
