Shows how the Islamic culture first established itself here. At the entry is a house reconstructed as it would have been. Then you can walk around the site. Interesting mosaics. Panels explain the different things to see. Great historic sight.

This small area is situated at the foot of the castle entrance, and along side the church, so take a few minutes to have a look. There are mosaic floors preserved and interesting drawings that show the layout of the original houses.

We spent a pleasant hour or so touring the castle and the neighbouring church. The views from the castle of the surrounding area are well worth the climb to the top of the keep as is the short film which tells. The story of the...More
