Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We spent a day at Czech Paradise and were amazed by the beauty of it. Walking among the Rock Town and along the winding paths among the trees was heaven. We even got lost and didn't mind at all, although we had to eventually make an effort to get back on track as we were losing daylight.

The area is the most breathtaking natural forestry that I've seen by far and I could have have happily spent far more than the one day exploring here.

If you're in the area, definitely take a walk here. Go to Hruba Skala and enter the routes from here and there's a green path on the boards that loops around. You'll be glad you did!

I recommend to visit this place. It is only 2 hours from Prague by train.
During the winter this stunning paradise is almost empty and you can enjoy the silence and beautiful views. The rocks can remind the labyrinth and you can easily get lost. It is needed to be careful.
Easy walking, even children should manage it.

We hiked two days in Czech Paradise, using Turnov as our home base. The trails are very well marked, and the scenery is breath taking.

Every bend in the trail changes the views and all are spectacular.

We came to see the Hruba Skala Castle. Thankfully the surrounding grounds were spectacular cause the castle was a big disappointment. It reminded me of the Hocking Hills of Ohio. The only fee is to park at the castle, but it was only 1 euro or so per hour.

Take time and have a short or a longer walk in Bohemian Paradise. This is an extraordinary geopark, huge rocks, deep gorges, amazing views. Clearly marked paths to walk along. The landscape is like a fairy tale. Singing birds make it a paradise. Don't miss it!

Also called stones city. If you like nature then you must go and see this place. Driving one hour from Prague to Zanek Hruba Skala you will be able to park there and start your walk. You have several routes to choose, I did the yellow and red routes (in the map image) and it is relatively easy walk and amazing views to see. Enjoy.

We did some research before we went to Prague and this place looked amazing. It did not let us down. It's an absolutely beautiful area. It's great for hiking, climbing or just driving through, although not advised to just sit in the car.
Punch in Hruba Skala on the map and look for the castle. There are plenty of hiking trails there. Also on the map, put in Prachov or Prachov Rocks and you'll find another amazing area. There is plenty to see and do in the whole area called Bohemian Paradise. Just get in the car or on the bike and see where it takes you. You can't lose here.

The rock formation of the Bohemian Paradise are worth a visit. The paths are marked with the directions to the most interesting sights clearly indicated.

The area of Bohemian paradise has number of castles, little chateaux, ruins, and is great for climbers, walkers and some easy routes are even good for families with young children. There are many cycle paths, often shared with walkers, and some paths include steep climb so people with health problems should carefully consider the area and the length of their trek. Many people underestimate the dangers, and search and rescue has to save people who are either lost, stuck, or exhausted. Also, you definitely need a good footwear, you can easily twist your ankle by wearing flip flops.
The views are definitely worth it, though.
