This is a must visit place in Murudeswar. The idol of Lord Shiva sits on one end and you can see the vast Arabian sea behind that. The Gopuram or the main entrance gate of this temple is simply mesmerizing to look at.

This is Murudeshwar temple. It is known as Kethapayya Narayan Temple by few people. This is a famous tourist spot and a beautiful naturistic place.

its 1 km from highway. You can either take auto or go walking. Temple premises is being renovated like a picnic spot. Not much religious activity there. Even Darshan of lingam not allowed without buying a ticket. they ask... More

its located on Mangalore/Udipi-Goa train route. 2hrs from Mangalore and 1hr from Udipi. 3hrs if coming from Goa side.
