The neighborhood where this old building is located was Japanese areas with school, consular office and 100 year old cathedral. You can see the cycle of history since Mokpo at that time functioned as 5th largest harbour in Korean peninsula.

Not bad for a free museum. The photographic exhibit of the Japanese occupation was very comprehensive. It was interesting to see how the city has changed over the years.
