Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Combine the ruins with the beach and you will have a lovely day. It was fairly quiet when we visited. You walk through the ruins to get to the Olympos part of the beach. There is an entrance fee but it is reasonable. The ruins are something else and need to be explored. The Roman Temple ruins was a wow and worth a visit for sure. The beach itself is nice but pebbles. If you just want a beach day and not interested in the ruins go to Cirali beach although will be a long drive by car.

In fact I don't see any reason to call this beach Olympos beach, as it is the end of 3 kms long Cirali beach with Olympos, ending with nice mountain (cca 510 m high). Looking at the small ,, Olympos beach '' now from the restaurant nearby, it is pretty crowded there on August Sunday afternoon.

I went for a 5 day trip with husband and 2 kids and didnt realize that you had to pay 11 euros per person to access the beach!! So 44 euros to a beautiful beach but there are no sunbeds, no toilets, no showers. The money is suppose to be for visiting the ancient city which i have seen before and really not interested to see so my access to beach is costing us 44 euros for everyday! 👏 Bravo to the official that made this rule

After the crowded beaches of Kemer, where music booms from almost every hotel, this place seemed like a real paradise to me. Beautiful nature, silence, tranquility, wide coastline, clear sea. There were people, of course, but no one bothered anyone, everyone was on their own wavelength. The rock creates a dense shadow, so even in the heat it is comfortable here. Nearby a mountain river flows into the sea, which, in my opinion, only adds to the charm of the landscape. The ancient city is very close by, so you can combine a pleasant time with an interesting excursion if you wish.

After about 5 years, I had the chance to come back, the old cleaning was over, the sea fish was full, both the fish were down and the ground was dirty. Virgin bag, transportation difficult, museum card entry, long walkway, you have to carry your things, long distance and pins are fatiguing, no toilet, no shower, you have to walk a lot for it, the child hungry, we couldn't find a place to eat, if you can go to the beach with a single bag and chair, nice, enjoyable

We went to Olimpos beach my partner and I thought it was a protected and natural beach and we got along quite disappointed. To begin with we had to pay 10euros to get in, we went through some Roman ruins and supposedly that goes into the entrance but I find it abusive. But since that amount is charged, that in Turkey the tourist charges us abusive amounts to see anything, they could keep and take care of it.We found butts, plastics, cans and trash both in and out of the water and we found it amazing that the boats stop on the same shore to leave people. The beach is beautiful but you should take more care of these things that cause places like this to be shattered.Ah ,the beach is made of stones and you have to carry umbrellas (if it is not air and you can nail it) or look for shade. There is a supermarket that rents umbrellas before reaching the entrance where they buy tickets, the boy is a charm

Now one of the dirtiest beaches I've ever seen. A single large ashtray! There are countless cigarette butts everywhere between the white pebbles. Unfortunately, there are no trash cans or sanitary facilities. That's what it looks like. 14 years ago, the last time we were here was when it was clean. Unfortunately, as on most Mediterranean beaches, the sea is now polluted with microplastics and garbage from the beach. Very sad that the municipality of Ulupinar or Kumluca allows this in the middle of the nature reserve.
