This place was definitely overrated. If you are traveling between Marrakech and the desert, it is a nice place to stop in between, but DO NOT go out of you way to see this - it was very disappointing.

We visited the gorge on a day trip from Skoura. In its own right, I would give the gorge a four star rating for its interesting geology. The 30 or so kilometers approaching the gorge rates five stars for its collection of old kasbahs and...More

We drove to the gorge to see what the fuss is about. Driving from the start of the valley is nice, the rocks are interestingly shaped and there are some intriguing ruins to see along the way. However upon arriving to the famous windy road...More

Disappointed by all the hype. This is a drive up a windy road, only to look back down at the road that was traveled. Waste of time.

The Todra Gorge is worth the visit to park and walk along the stream and marvel at how waters carved out this deep gorge over the years. Allow 20-30 minutes tops. There are vendors and guys with arm loads of jewelry and scarves that walk...More

Nice twisty/curvy road to the top of the Dades Gorge. A drive to the top is rewarded with a stunning view from the restaurant at the apex. A coffee or lunch allows a little time to soak it all in..

We are in the Dades Gorge, in took a while to get too, but worth it. The rocks are bright red, and form high walls. We were in our camper and climbed this zigzag road to the top and what a view. Then on down...More

Hi there, I just know that there is an asphalt route through Dades gorge. So no problem driving through. If you have nerves of steel you can drive. In Marrakesh I would rather just sit and watch than drive. The traffic is... More
