Did a quick excursion to Ensenada and went to the La Bufadora just south of Ensenada. A storm was brewing and with a strong tide, the blow hole was absolutely spectacular. Even the tour guide said that it was the highest she had ever seen. This was my second trip there and it was twice as strong as the first... More

This was nice place to visit it was beautiful. We got to see a lot of the area on the 30 mile bus ride out there which was pretty cool. There is a lot going on here nothing you want you can get and eat. Wish I would have had more time to spend there. Its a busy area. I... More

La Bufadora is a blowhole that spouts water about 50 feet high every thirty seconds or so. If you're close enough to the rocks, you can get sprayed and it was easy enough to get a close spot to observe on a random Wednesday. It seemed like the blowhole was caused by the water pressure of crashing waves, but Wikipedia... More

Bufadora was lovely, peaceful, awesome. However to get to this place one must side-step and rebuff about 1/4 mile of desperate Mexican sales persons. This was a real negative to me. The Bufadora is one of 3 blow holes in the world, and it is majestic in its setting amongst the rocks and the silvery ocean. It must have sounded... More

After reading many negative reviews everywhere about how dirty it is and the venders hogging you all the time ,I was a bit nervous about booking this excursion, but since it's one of its kind ,we decided to go anyways . And we did not repent our decision a tiny bit.The hot water spouts out of the ocean / caves and... More

We took a Carnival cruise to Ensenada. I took the recommendation of another trip advisor reviewer and rented a car as soon as I got off the ship. It was $45 for the whole day. They give you a map and the locals are very helpful as well. We drove to La Bufadora which was about an hour and then... More

La Bufadora (the "Buffalo") is a geological formation that from a distance looks like a cross between a buffalo's hump and the blowhole on a whale. It is a natural water spout that, every 7 seconds, shoots ocean water from a cave under the mountain to way up high in the air. It is absolutely beautiful and well worth the... More

I was with a group of friends on a cruise which stopped in Ensenada. They've never been so we took a tour out to the blow hole at La Bufadora. We were lucky to get huge blows. So exciting, one after another and my friends dug it. We have lunch at Habana Banana. Excellent. Had time to stroll along the... More

La Bufadora is a blow hole in Ensenada. It is amazing to watch the power of the sea and the view from that spot of the ocean is beautiful. Caution, if you get too close you can get sprayed by the sea water! You have to walk through a couple of blocks of vendors to get to the spot to... More

If you enjoy shopping and sightseeing this is one stop you should make. You have plenty of sightseeing to do on your drive to the Bufadora and plenty of vendor to select from to shop at.
