A beautiful part of yorkshire(and the world for that matter) easily accessible from Malham village centre. Not for the faint hearted but possible for the average person. Circular walk from the village also takes in Gordale scar and Janet's Foss and takes around 2 hours....More

We visited soon after a period of heavy rain and the atmosphere was wonderful. The view is breathtaking. Every attempt was been made to make the approach to the cove possible for even the most average walker. It is an easy half mile walk from...More

We hiked around Malham Cove on our recent weekend in Yorkshire. There is a lot to see around this beautiful area, and we took in Janet's Foss, Gordale Scar, Malham Tarn, and the Cove on a great 7 mile walk out of the village. We...More

You can get to the base of the cove with a stroller. But not up the cove, very steep steps. To eat: the Secret Garden Bistro near Malham. Beautiful spot by the river.

the path to the base of the cliff is not too bad and should just be about manageable with a buggy. However you would have no chance climbing the 400 steps to the top.
