As part of our hike we passed Malham Cove. Very impressive and beautiful. But I can imagine it can be very busy. We were there on a Wednesday and off season and already there were a lot of people, including very noisy school children.

Malham Cove is beautiful. Start at the National Park Centre and walk towards Janet's Foss (a waterfall), go to Gordale Scar (overhanging cliffs) which is a slight detour, come back to the trail and walk across fields till you come to the famous Limestone pavement...More

We decided to do this walk first as it was one of the shorter ones around Malham and we were not disappointed . The only advice I would give is to make sure you go to the cove first on this walk so that you...More

Absolutely stunning, I highly recommend the longer way up via the hill instead of the stairs to get to the top and do the stairs down to the cove.

There are several walks in the area, but we chose to go across the clifftop from the road rather than walk from the town up the cove. Great walk through grassy sheep country. Nothing is particularly marked, so you have to know generally where you're...More

Climb the 435 steps it takes to get to the top and you will be rewarded with amazing views of the dales. Continue the walk to Janet,s Foss and reward yourself with a pint at the Lister Arms.

If you enjoy a moderate to strenuous circular walk full of natural beauty this visit is for you. Park in the Village of Malham and walk to Janet's Foss a very pretty waterfall. A short walk further on is Gordale Scar with two further waterfalls...More

The cove itself is incredible and there are lots of different walks possible. The path round the cove is well maintained and stepped although care is needed at the top walking on slabs of limestone and it would be tricky in wet weather.

the path to the base of the cliff is not too bad and should just be about manageable with a buggy. However you would have no chance climbing the 400 steps to the top.

This is a good walk for anyone and everyone. You can do as much or as little strenuous walking as needed. I would suggest watching the whole walk on utube channel known as the walking with the taxi driver series- Malham... More
