Never heard of this whiskey so went to try it. Staff very rude, initially gave a very brief explanation of casks and proceeded to ignore us! Obvious to a blind man we were waiting to try three of their whiskeys but not another word spoken...More

A group of 8 of us ventured to Glenglassaugh and opted, via pre-booking, for the more-expensive "Behind the Scenes" tour. This did exactly what it says on the tin (and their website) via a leisurely exploration, accompanied by two knowledgeable guides. We described this as...More

We called in here on our way to Portsoy. Sadly, we didn’t have time for a tour but were very impressed by the visitor centre and the lovely lady running it. I walked away with a lovely sherry-cask malt, bottled in front of me having...More

I visited in late July this year before it was actively distilling (too early for the harvest) and as such had a great tour. Luckily, I arrived for the last time slot and as a result, I got a personal tour! My guide could not...More

Fabulous location overlooking the sea. Interesting tour of the working distillery, worth going for the smells alone! We particularly liked the hands on spirit. Oh and the whisky is very good.

Having visited Glenglassaugh a number of years ago and purchasing an Octave cask with family members, I thought I would revisit with my wife and children, especially as they we won quite time. Checked the website and drove the 50+ miles to the distillery. Upon...More

Very informative and interesting tour of the distillery. We opted to do a taste of all three whiskys available including tasting of their special reserve cask which was superb. Highly recommended.

I may be wrong here but I don't think you can. When I had my tour, a group turned up with dogs and I am fairly sure they were told they couldn't take the dogs with them. Anyone feel free to correct me if I am incorrect!
