Many years since I'd seen or flown in some of these aircraft. And many more I'd never seen. It's one of those places where the staff force you to leave at closing time.

We spent the afternoon looking at all the aircraft on display at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford. If you love WWII era aircraft, this is the place to visit. Hundreds of planes on display from Sopwith Camel to a Concorde. My favorites were the B-24 & B-17 bombers. The Museum is located at an active airfield so you never... More

What a great place to visit for fans of anything military. It's a pretty vast place and really needs more than one visit to do all the exhibits justice. There's a fair bit of walking to the various buildings and on a cold windy wet January it isn't for the faint hearted!! .. Walking between the buildings. That said it's... More

We loved our visit, far exceeded our expectations. Easily enough to see for a whole day. Really interesting seeing all the planes, (and there were lots), good interactive displays, friendly staff, and you can go on Concord! Brilliant.

This Air Museum is one of the worlds most famous and has so many iconic aircraft it is worth a whole day for an aircraft enthusiast, and half a day if you are just interested enough to visit. Getting there is a problem without a car in winter. To/From Cambridge a taxi ride costs £20-£25 i.e. up to £50 return... More

That Masquerade Ball held on the 18th December 2016 was a GREAT success with over 500 people in attendance. After the four course meal we were treated to a light show on stage before the rest of the evening was left to everyone dancing the night away to their favourite music. There was also a casino were people could spend... More

A wonderful place to visit. There are several cafeterias and restaurants, disable facilities, shop, workshop, restoration area where you can watch work being undertaken and aircraft displayed in period. Information is readily available on display items and guides happy to answer any questions you may have. Not only aircraft is on display, displays on land warfare with very rare vehicles... More

Great museum for all things related to planes and air travel. Loved the Concorde. The teens also enjoyed the day. Bring a warm jacket as its cold walking between the hangars.

If you have any interest in getting close-up and personal with some of those most important and iconic aircraft in world history, you simply have to visit. A vast collection of aircraft to look down on, look up at and climb on including Concorde. Other exhibition items include war-based land craft, engines, artifacts, documents and so so much more. Warning... More
